Lulu's Partner has the pedigree of a champion and an active family that are exciting to watch. Lulu's half-brother, New York based stallion Disco Partner, is a gritty million-dollar earner, winning a Grade III at Saratoga and coming in third twice in the Breeders Cup Turf Sprint. She is also a half to Don Six's Number, another black type half-million dollar winner.

Lulu has settled into life as a broodmare and is producing wonderful-looking foals. Her first foal by Wicked Tune turned heads at the 2021 Fasig Tipton Saratoga Fall Sale and became Wicked Tunes' highest-priced weanling. Her 2022 Foal, by Mr. Monomoy, stood out among his peers, immediately catching the attention of everyone at the farm. He is big, powerful, and impressed us so much that we changed Lulu's breeding plans and sent her back to Mr. Monomoy to replicate this foal.

Lulu's Partner dam, Lulu's Number, has proven herself as a producer. She has two black-type winners, one who competed in multiple Breeders Cups, that now stands at stud in NY. A mare who produced three black-type winners is slightly further back on her female side. She currently has one half-brother, sired by Into Mischief, who is running. He has started three times. On his first outing, he placed at Belmont and then won at Saratoga.

Lulu's Partner is the perfect combination of looks and a female family who produces black-type horses. She quickly made our short list at Fasig Tipton's 2021 Winter Mixed Sale. With several broodmares not meeting their reserve, we decided to be patient with her. Our patience paid off, and we secured her in a private sale for a great price.

Lulu's Partner was last bred to Mr. Monomoy on May 1st. With Lulu's Partner having already produced two excellent-looking foals, we plan to send her to a proven Kentucky stallion for the 2023 breeding season.
